The Boom v1.00 is in the jam


I do enjoy a good mad bomber in fiction. BTAS has that kid with the toy cars that deliver bombs, the Joker regularly gets bomb happy, the Tick had a mad bomber, Speed... Demolition experts are also a bit of a heist movie trope, so why not? My wife was much less enthusiastic about this class, so I added that feel to the playbook. Doskvol is supposed to be a tightly packed city, Crews are rewarded for stealth, so a bomber would probably not fit in well.

I'll try to wedge in more bomb puns. I really wanted to add more to restrict the type of bombs, but also didn't want to restrict player abilities. I see this class as way more technical than arcane.

"High Stakes Bluff" is a bit of a nod to the many moments in movies where someone pulls a live bomb, but doesn't use it. "She's holding a thermal detonator!" Typically those moments don't end well...

The lifespan of this playbook could be directly related to the length of the fuse players decide to use. Perhaps appropriate for a one-shot? Let me know if you play with it and what you think of it.
